Experimental sessions around the Farandole
Originally, the farandole is a dance that moves through the streets, leading people into the ballroom. At the end of the ball, it brings the dancers back into the city. The farandole is a space of transition between outside and inside, an invitation. Its form is not particularly strict, each person adapts their steps and creates variations, ranging from simple walking to rhythmic and or jumping steps. From there, anything is possible.

This laboratory is free of charge, but registration is required. It is open to anyone interested in improvisation, traditional dance, or both, as well as to those who are curious and open to experimentation.

This series of workshops will be led by Stéphanie Auberville, with coordination by newpolyphonies vzw.
