In the darkest of months, we are bringing in the light. In our lamp-making workshop, we will teach you how to make and repair simple lamps. Firstly, we will give a technical workshop, explaining the basics of lamp-making. After, we make room for experiment and play, allowing participants to customize their own lamps.
Through arts-and-crafts workshops, we want to create space to think on the makership of objects. How can we get ownership of making things ourselves again, when our surrounding objects are ultra-processed? What does it mean to make something with our own hands?
The workshop is accessible to all; the necessary materials will be provided. If you plan to take your lamp home with you, we ask for a small contribution to cover material costs – if you are financially able to do so.
For lunch, we propose a potluck :)
