[LAUNCH] BYE BYE BINARY N° E·U, ARCHIVES TYPO·GRAPHIQUES DU FUTUR
THURSDAY 07/05
18:30
End: Thursday 07/05 - 20:30

At: RoSa vzw
Rue de la Senne 40, 1000 Bruxelles

Launch of the second issue of the Bye Bye Binary magazine, the French-Belgian collective whose field of experimentation and research focuses on language and inclusive, post-binary writing. BBB explores new graphic and typographic forms suited to the French language, notably through type design, the creation of ligatures, middots, linking or symbiotic elements.

A discussion (in French) moderated by Chloé Horta with members of Bye Bye Binary. Back to RoSa vzw, the venue of the very first Bye Bye Binary workshop in 2018!

***
Where issue N° é·e confirmed the collective’s political and choral force, issue N° e·u delves deeper into the notion of archives, which lies at the heart of the magazine’s motivations. Enz@ Le Garrec and Sophie Vela, editors of this issue, ask the questions that guide its trajectory: “What does it mean to ‘make archive’ today? Into what future do we project ourselves in these times shaken by doubt, fear, and the uncertainty of today and tomorrow? How do we hold together in this storm, to keep building among the debris?”
