The Pleasure of Getting Dirty takes the time of a day, between workshops, performances and concerts, to return to the tangible, the sticky, the living, far from the smoothing of screens and algorithmic perfection.

On the second floor of Metarage, covered with tarpaulins, with buckets of water placed all over the place, about twenty artists from Brussels and elsewhere explore dirt as a playground, a source of surprise and creativity.

The day is orchestrated by Andrée Chapatte (aka Chantilly) who constructs the events as a continuous flow: in the afternoon, workshops activate the public (pogo, slow, collective creations); in the early evening, performances and actions accumulate layers of dirt in the space; at night, concerts and DJ sets extend the experience in a “Dirty on the Dancefloor” atmosphere.
