MOAW PRESENTS SOPRATERRA + TIO MADRONA + ISLAMABAD DISCIPLINE
Saturday 18/04, 20:30 - 23:00h
At: METARAGE

Sopraterra – Dark Ambient / Drone / Medieval

Sopraterra, formed in 2023 by Magda Drozd and Nicola Genovese, reimagines the traditional timbres of saxophone and violin into a dark, mesmerizing electronic music with post-medieval overtones. Their sound blends ambient, drone, and electroacoustic experimentation with baroque and medieval tonalities, infused with touches of post-rock, shoegaze, and psychedelia—creating a sonic odyssey that is both archaic and resolutely contemporary.

Tio Madrona – Flamenco / Industrial / Art Rock

A music born from improvisations and field recordings, carried by a voice that shifts between Spanish and an invented language. Drawing from Arabo-Andalusian influences, punk, and flamenco, their debut album Rabia explores a landscape of invisible emotions, at the crossroads of rock, experimental music, and Andalusian dark folk.

Islamabad Discipline – Raga / Field Recordings / Post-Rock

A project by French-Pakistani musician Ambroise Yon, blending field recordings, guitar, and traditional forms. Complex Zero Point Faizabad is an eclectic album, like a dream-filled night woven from elusive sounds and memories.
