An exhibition based on, but not limited to,

the work created during the 9th edition

of the Moerdijk Sculpture Project

The Moerdijk Sculpture project is an independent art residency which takes place yearly in the Flemish countryside. Launched from their generosity and desire to share, Nadine Vansieleghem and Lieven Debrabandere have hosted nearly 40 artists from around the world in their home – studio. Ignited by Debrabandere’s lifework as stone sculptor, the participants are able to produce their personal work on the spot throughout one week, choosing their marble and limestone carefully from the host's grand stone library. The exhibition will highlight the result of this year's residency with steaming hot works by

Lieven Debrabandere, Phil Doutrelepont, Maika Garnica, Mathieu Hendrickx, Marion Henry, Aline Jan, Bart Lescrève, Lola Pertsowsky, Jade Tang, Stéfan Tulépo
