A Mombao concert isn’t just about the music - it’s something in between a techno/punk performance and a Dyonisiac collective ritual.
They collect folk songs from different cultures all over the world, blending them with invented languages and performing at the centre of the stage with drums, voices and electronics; the audience gathers all around and their bodies covered in body paint.

Their fractured dance is a collective uprising, a liberation from norms, an imagination of a solar and human future. Every performance is largely improvised, making each show unique and unrepeatable.

Over the years, they have turned many stages — from DIY spaces to some of Italy’s biggest festivals — into a collective Dionysian ritual. With hundreds of shows across Italy, Europe, Morocco, and the Balkans, they’ve established themselves as one of the most iconic live acts of their generation.

For the first time in Brussels thanks to Tansa Collective, Mombao will be collaborating with the iconic RaveKoor, blending their powerful voices with Mombao’s electronics, surrounded by the stunning setting of Metarage.
