LATA – Love Among The Artists invites you to a two-week self-directed residency in a sunlit apartment by the Mediterranean Sea in Marseille.

Inspired by Love Among The Artists by George Bernard Shaw, this residency offers space to pause, explore, swim, and dream.

We are looking for artists who would like to explore the transition from urban to natural, from concrete to cliffside, from the city’s buzz to the sea’s calm.

Your project may be visual, conceptual, literary, interdisciplinary, or something that doesn’t fit any category at all.

The stay is self-directed, without any production constraints or expectations of a formal presentation: the idea is to offer a setting where the rhythm of work can blend with that of the sea, between reflection and daydreaming.

There is no public presentation planned, but the artists are free to organize an informal sharing session if they wish.

Don’t forget: we promote imperfection. 

Applicants may choose any consecutive two-week period between Saturday, February 28, 2026, and Sunday, March 29, 2026.
