These Hard Feelings is the first exhibition by artist couple Gary Farrelly and Gilles Hellemans. Developed during a month-long residency at The Green Corridor in November, the works arise from a long-standing shared attunement to Brussels and its architectural residues.

Working across walking, rubbing, stitching, handling, and filming, the exhibition holds together as a set of shared procedures testing how surface, touch, and architectural residue might carry feeling. These Hard Feelings is concerned with with sustained proximity: to buildings, to materials, and to one another. The video work, accompanied by a sound score by Nina Hynes, extends this logic into duration, registering Brussels as an affective terrain shaped by repetition, attachment, and deferred futures.
