We´re looking for new BARN Core Team members
We´re going to expand the Core Team of BARN, the coming months. Would be nice to have some new vibes and new energies. Would you be interested?
Being part of the BARN Core Team mainly consists of:
- Being in contact with members of the wide network of artists, independent culture workers, and artist-run initiatives in Brussels
- Sharing your knowledge among the network and the BARN Core Team, through personal contact and the 2 main networking tools we've initiated (telegram group, brusselsartistrun.net)
- 1 BARN Core Team meeting per month, sometimes more
- Initiating and helping to organise BARN events (tours visiting a couple of spaces, thematic conversations, workshops for instance about the website, a fundraiser party, microresidencies, hangouts, international visits to colleague visits and other countries/cities, website distribution to colleague networks, BARN radio, sharing practices, ...)
- Optionally: taking a turn in the monthly BARN newsletter workgroup
- Optionally: participating in conversations with local/regional administrations & politics, and helping to look for funding
The BARN Core Team strives to be a financially healthy micro-organisation one day. For the time being, we can only pay ourselves tiny bits. We do it for fun, friendship, because we know it´s important, and because we get a lot in return.
