SUPERDEALS

Initiatives with a space

SUPERDEALS is a bare-bones, short-term artist residency in Saint-Gilles, Brussels. Since 2014, it has offered artists a one-month stay with accommodation and space for work and presentation—without programmed support or expectations, but with a loose structure and full autonomy. The compact format encourages experimentation, improvisation, and exploration—offering space to test ideas, respond to context, and develop new directions, all sparked by the vibrant local environment.

Each resident is invited to organise a public moment that seems most fitting—this can take the form of a discussion, performance, exhibition, publication, workshop, or another format.

Formerly located next to the legendary bar Le New Touquet, SUPERDEALS reopened its doors in 2024 in newly renovated premises overlooking the lively Place de Bethléem.
